Two waves,every level

We choose the spot each morning from the swell, wind and tide, and from where you are in your surfing.

Atlantic swell wraps around the point and peels slowly into the bay. One wave can carry you for hundreds of metres.

Magic Bay

A long, slow right-hander peeling into the harbour bay. Sandy bottom, sheltered from the north wind. Perfect for first green waves and longboarding.

Cathedral

The exposed side of the point, with more power and steeper faces. Where improvers go once they can turn on a green wave.

I've never surfed. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most of our students start from zero, and Magic Bay is one of the best places in Morocco to learn: slow waves, sand bottom and no rush. You just need to be comfortable in the water and able to swim a little.

What should I bring?

Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and a bottle of water. We provide the board and wetsuit for all lessons.

How do I pay?

Nothing is paid online. You pay in cash after your session, in euros or Moroccan dirhams. Packs are paid after the first session.

What if there are no waves or the weather turns?

We check the forecast every evening. If conditions aren't right we move your session to another day, or cancel it at no cost.

Can I cancel?

Yes, cancelling is free. Just send us a message as early as you can so we can give your spot to someone else.

When is the best season in Imsouane?

Magic Bay works all year. Autumn to spring brings the most consistent swell; summer is smaller and warmer, which is perfect for beginners.

How do I get to Imsouane?

Imsouane is on the coast road about 1 h 30 north of Agadir and 2 h south of Essaouira. Ask us and we'll help arrange a transfer.

Ready for your first long ride?

Send a request in a minute. Mohssine will reply with a time that fits the tide.
